Sunray Tomato Seeds are large tomatoes which weigh around produce 8-10 ounces. They are golden-orange tomatoes, with sweet flavors that are balanced well with just the right amount of acidity. These tomatoes tend to have a meaty flesh and are popular in salads and sauces, because of their rich tomato flavor, which is not too acid to taste. Also, they are known as the Golden Sunray due to their color and the size of these rather large tomatoes. They tend to mature after approximately 75 days. It is best to start growing the seeds from indoors six weeks prior to the final frost of spring. This way they have the ideal transplanting date for the best results.
The seeds should be sown half an inch down in a well-drained seedling starting mix. For optimal results grow them in moist soil between 65-90 degrees Fahrenheit. The warmer the soil is this will allow for a rapid development. Finally, it is best to water moderately after seeds sprout through the soil. Transplanting the seed outside should not be rushed. The cold soil and bad air temperatures can stress plants. .
