Kale is considered to be one of the best producers in the brassica family while also being one of the healthiest. This is a special, refined heirloom strain. Stems are purple; leaves are deep gray-green/purple, purple-veined, flat, noncurled, and tooth-edged. The plants mature medium-tall and leaves are tender compared to other Kales. Red Russian Kale contains 2g of protein per serving and crucial Vitamins A, C and E. Besides that, 10% of your daily copper needs and 26% of your daily manganese needs are also in one serving of Red Russian Kale plus powerful antioxidant properties. On top of everything else, Kale has the same cancer fighting properties, Sulforaphane, as broccoli!

Excellent product. A regular Microgreen purchase of mine
One of my staples for my microgreen business. I have several restaurants buying kale every week and I always get the seed from Todd's. Very tasty mild microgreen and the seed germinates very well.
I started a Micro-green business last year and tested seeds from several sources. Todd's Seeds won hands down for germination and quality control. I had issues with intermixed seed varieties and weed seed from some of the other suppliers. Never had any issues with seed from Todd's Seed. Great quality control, excellent germination and best value I could find. Todd's has become and will continue to be my only seed provider.
We purchase the Red Russian Kale seeds for micro-green production. They produce a consistently great product. We have purchased 100's of pounds of seeds from Todd's and have been 100% satisfied with them all. There has been great germination, great prices and over the top customer service.
Our main micro green crop and these seeds never fail. Great germination and heavy yields from each tray.
We haven't eaten any yet as this will be our first season planting Red Russian Kale, but are looking forward to enjoying it. The more color the healthier for you. The best price I found on the internet also. The seeds are non GMO which is really important.
