Sprouting Seeds
Everything there is to know about Sprouting Seeds
You can have all the sprouting knowledge in the world and if you don't have the finest sprouting seeds available to sprout with, you will end up frustrated and without the benefits sprouting has to offer.
There is no reason in the world to pay a lot of money for questionable seed that has poor germination results. We go to a lot of trouble to make sure that our seed is tested for pathogens like e-coli, salmonella and other bacteria and gross stuff that you don't want in your sprouts. Would you buy seeds soaked in urine? No, we wouldn't either, which is why we test for all kinds of contaminants.
We germinate our seeds and provide the germination test date and results with every package. If someone reports a seed having trouble popping, we grab it from our seed vault and immediately do a germination test. We want to make sure that our seeds are never going to be the stumbling block in your growing success.
While we do offer some hybrid seeds, we clearly indicate that the seed is a hybrid. There is inherently nothing wrong with a hybrid seed, we just choose not to carry a bunch of them.
We specialize in heirloom seeds that have stood the test of time, and will last for many years if properly stored, and will be able to provide you future seeds from your harvest so that you can grow the exact same thing over and over again should you so desire.
