Arugula/Roquette Herb Seed

Product Description:

Welcome to Todd’s Seeds, your trusted source for premium herb seeds. Our Arugula/Roquette Herb Seeds bring you the delightful and peppery flavor of arugula, also known as roquette, to your culinary endeavors. Arugula is a versatile herb that adds a distinct zing to salads, sandwiches, and a variety of dishes. Whether you’re an experienced gardener or just starting out, these seeds will help you grow your own fresh and flavorful arugula herb with ease.

Planting Instructions:

– Soil Preparation: Choose well-drained, fertile soil with a pH level of 6.0-6.8 for optimal arugula growth.

– Sowing: Sow the seeds directly in the garden or in containers, spacing them about 1/4 inch apart. Cover the seeds lightly with soil.

– Sunlight: Arugula thrives in partial to full sun, receiving at least 4-6 hours of sunlight a day.

– Watering: Keep the soil consistently moist, but avoid overwatering. Arugula prefers slightly moist conditions.

– Harvesting: You can start harvesting arugula leaves when they reach a suitable size, typically about 2-3 inches long. Harvest the outer leaves first, allowing the inner leaves to continue growing for later use.

Delicious Culinary Uses:

Arugula, with its peppery and slightly nutty taste, is a favorite herb for salads and sandwiches. It pairs wonderfully with other greens, tomatoes, and various dressings. You can also use arugula to add a unique flavor twist to pizzas, pasta dishes, and even as a garnish for soups. Its versatility and bold flavor make it a must-have herb in your kitchen garden.

  3. Stephanie Wood

I am struggling with these seeds, this is the first time i have tried to grow/sprout Arugula, they are not like other sprout seeds, and I do not have the right growing median. But because they are so tasty, I will keep thring to grow, not sprout, them.

  4. Todd’s Seeds Lover

  7. Todd’s Seeds Lover

  8. Michael

A good flavor addition to my Kale microgreens, 85% germination

  9. Roxanne Seitz

I ordered this specifically for sprouting seeds. I dislike the mucillagenous quality of at least one of the kinds of seeds for sprouting, as it seems to become a gucky mess. (I “recycled,” i.e. threw out) my first attempt. I imagine I’ll have no problem with these as microgreens; however, that isn’t the purpose for which I bought them. I’m quite satisfied with the alfalfa spouting seeds I purchased, the mung beans look fine, and I had a nice interface on phone with one of your staff, so Todd’s is still a go-to for me @ 3-3/4 stars.

  10. Zoe Zuo

The seeds germinate so great and fast.

  11. Adam Cooper

We prefer to run Todd’s Roquette Arugula for our arugula microgreens customers. We’ve run other arugula from different suppliers and as of April 2024 we think it stands out as the clear winner in terms of favor, appearance, and germination. Buy with confidence.
