5 stars!!! Could I use a mason jar? Yes... Does it have the ventilation this kit has? NO!!! The seed is icing on the cake! My husband had never had sprouts before and he absolutely loves them! AAA++++

I'm a newbie at this. Heard great things about the Easy Sprout and Todd's seeds. Both have worked great so far and I'm enjoying my sprouts with meals, but don't expect the Easy Sprout's instructions to be of much use. Instead, search youtube for easy sprout and whatever seed or nut or grain you are trying to sprout.

my favorite sandwich in the whole world is fresh roasted turkey in my roasting pan with italian dressing/dijon, mechango cheese,tomatoes,cucumber shreds and lots of alfalfa sprouts in pita pocket...sprouts being the item you can not get on demand...BUT NOW I CAN AND THEY ARE DELICIOUS!! thank you for such an easy design...now if i can master the bean sprouts for spring rolls i'll be in heaven!!

I would have given this product a 5 star rating for being well made, and not a cheap throwaway, except for the instructions on how to use it. I'm a college graduate and I think I need to have a PHD in agronomics to understand it!!!!! I'm re-reading for about the fifth time today, and still am not super clear on how to get started. You need one for those of us who border on having ten black fingers - I don't grow stuff much, and if it has to have a lot of TLC, it will probably die here!!!!!

It's easy to use, I had delicious sprouts in four days. Compared to what I pay at the grocer's it will have paid for itself in less than three weeks, and I will still have lots of seeds!

we started soaking and sprouting lentils and also the seeds that came with the pack. the results are so much better than mason jar technique, keeping the seeds moist and aerated without rot! enjoying our sprouts already in two days! thank you for a great product.
