The “Fat Pack” Difference
Our original offering sold out almost instantly. These vaults were much more difficult to put together than we had anticipated, but so many missed out, we feel compelled to make up some more vaults. This is the pre-order price, as it may take up to a week before we can ship the new vaults. Once they are ready to ship, there will be a price increase. Order now and lock in this crazy low price.
Most “survival seed vaults” sold online are full of fluff—thousands of tiny lettuce seeds to inflate the count, but barely enough food to feed a rabbit.
We are doing this differently. Because we are clearing our warehouse to move locations, we aren’t counting seeds one by one. We are scooping them.
- Standard Packet: ~100mg (you pick it up and can’t believe there are seeds in there)
- Todd’s Legacy Seed Vault Packet: 0.5g to 100g (Yes, really).
We have included massive “Bounty Packs” of Mung Beans (100g), Red Russian Kale (25g), and Radishes (20g). These are dual-purpose varieties: grow them to maturity in your garden, or sprout them on your kitchen counter for fresh food in just 3 days.
What is in the Seed Vault Bag? (50 Packets Total MINIMUM – also all images are representative, and not 100% indicative of what’s in the vault, but you WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED)
IMPORTANT!! If you are seeing this, understand that by buying now, we will be throwing in additional BONUS PACKS AND BONUS ASSORTMENTS!!! THIS IS ON TOP OF WHAT WE’D NORMALLY PUT IN THE VAULT!
“Wait, roughly 46,159 seeds? That sounds like too much. Isn’t that overkill?
Not when you understand what this seed vault is actually for. If you view this purely as a standard garden kit, yes, it’s massive. But this is a Food Security Seed Vault. A huge portion of this count comes from our dual-purpose “Bounty Packs”, like Mung Beans, Radishes, and Kale. When you sprout seeds for food, you don’t plant them individually; you use thousands at a time to grow a dense tray of nutrient-rich microgreens. You might eat 2,000 seeds in a single salad. For the garden staples, that high count is your insurance policy. It allows you to plant heavily, thin aggressively, replant after a frost, and still have plenty left to share or seal up for next season. We didn’t pack this for a single summer hobby; we packed it to keep your pantry full.
