Product Overview
Clarkia amoena, Godetia Dwarf Seed mix is a beautiful bright flower that helps attract bees and provides a beautiful scent to every garden. They thrive if they're planted in mass quantities, and work exceptionally well as a border flower in garden beds. They should be sown between March and May or August and October where you wish the flowers to bloom. They tend to grow to a height of 12 inches and, as their name suggests, are a dwarf variety; they are short and grow wide. When planted outdoors they should be planted a quarter inch (1/4) into the soil, directly into pre-watered and finely-prepared soil, making sure that it has also been well-drained.
The seedlings appear within 2-3 weeks. After this period, thin the seedlings to around 6 inches apart. If the aim is to make a longer display, then do continued sowings every 2-3 weeks. The plants should be watered throughout this period in order to obtain optimal results. The best way to plant them is to sow in curves, as opposed to straight lines, for it well help to create a more aesthetically pleasing display. If you choose to sow in late summer or fall, the blooms will flower the coming year, usually before spring sowings do.
