Product Overview

These are our most popular sprouting seeds. Broccoli sprouts have just recently become popular after it was discovered that they abound with the amazing cancer-fighting phytochemical, sulforaphane.

Research studies have shown that they contain 50 times more sulforaphane than fresh broccoli. What's more, they contain glucosinolates and isothiocyanates, substances that protect cells from becoming malignant, at 10-100 times greater levels than in fresh broccoli. In addition, they are sources of plant estrogens, similar to human estrogen, and so are helpful in cases of PMS, menopause, hot flashes and fibrocystic disease.

Nutrient dense, they are rich sources of vitamins A, B, C, E and K, anti-oxidants, the minerals calcium, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium and zinc. Also carotene, chlorophyll, amino acids, trace elements and antioxidants. Broccoli sprouts contain as much as 35% protein.

1 Packet: 10 g

1 Gram ~ 315 seeds

1 Pound ~ 100,000 seeds

The best part about broccoli sprouting seeds is that they can be added to any dish. They can be planted in hemp bags, jars, or automatic sprouters. Proper ventilation is key to healthy sprouts. Soak the seeds for a few hours or overnight. When they are fully grown, you should transfer them to a glass container that has a lid and place them under a grow light. You can water them as often as you need, but make sure to rotate them every day.

First, soak the seeds for at least four to six hours. After they have soaked, rinse them twice a day. You can also spray them with a spray bottle if you don't feel like doing this. This method is very easy and cheap. Realize that a pound of seeds will produce roughly ten pounds of sprouts. Next, rinse the seeds well every three days or as often as necessary. Once sprouts have emerged, you can eat them raw or in recipes.

Before you can sprout broccoli, you need to soak the seeds. The seeds should be submerged in water for 12 hours. For this time, keep them in a dark area. Afterward, rinse them thoroughly and transfer them to a sprouting container. After 48 hours, rinse them three times a day to keep them fresh. The sprouts will look beautiful and healthy after 48 hours. And the best part is that you can eat them as they are!

Broccoli sprouts aren't available in supermarkets but you can even grow them yourself at home. This simple process has many benefits. Growing your own sprouts is easy, affordable, and sustainable. Once you have mastered the art, you will be able to provide a nutritious and delicious treat for your family.

After soaking the seeds, transfer them to a sprouting container. Then, store the seeds in a dark, cool area. They'll be ready in about 48 hours, so make sure you keep them in a dark, cool place for the next few days. You can also add herbs or spices to the broccoli like thyme and sage. This food has many health benefits and is affordable too.

Once the sprouting seed has been dried, you can add it into any dish. The seeds need to be soaked in a small bowl or dish of water for 12 hours. Then, you should keep the sprouts in a dark place for at least 48 hours. You can even use a spray bottle to rinse the seeds. After soaking the seeds, you should rinse them at least twice daily to maintain the healthiest environment.

This is the second type of seed I have tried. The first was the high-protein bean mixture. I have been very impressed with the percentage of sprouting.

These seeds arrived quickly and sprouted great but quite a bit of the 2.5 lbs were missing. The seed package had a tear that was taped over, and when it arrived half the seeds were loose inside the shipping envelope and spilling out.

I love these broccoli sprouts. They are germinating after two days, which is quite incredible given our weather here in Reno, NV.

I tried different brands of broccoli sprouting seeds at Amazon. I love todd's seeds best in terms of taste. Since I figured out the best way to store seeds ( the freezer), I buy bulk and save tons of money.
