Sugar Ann Pea Heirloom Seed

**Product Description:**

Welcome to Todd's Seeds, where we offer a wide range of premium heirloom seeds for your gardening pleasure. Our Sugar Ann Pea Heirloom Seeds are a fantastic addition to your garden, providing you with sweet and tender peas that are easy to grow. Whether you're an experienced gardener or just starting, these seeds will bring the delicious taste of homegrown Sugar Ann Peas to your dinner table.

**Planting Instructions:**

- **Soil Preparation:** Choose a well-drained, loamy soil for planting. Work compost into the soil to improve its fertility and water-holding capacity.

- **Planting Time:** Sugar Ann peas are a cool-season crop. Sow the seeds outdoors as soon as the soil can be worked in early spring or in late summer for a fall harvest.

- **Sowing:** Plant the seeds about 1 inch deep and space them 2 inches apart in rows. Leave about 18-24 inches between rows.

- **Watering:** Keep the soil consistently moist, but avoid overwatering. Sugar Ann peas prefer even moisture, especially during flowering and pod formation.

- **Support:** Sugar Ann pea plants are compact and do not require trellises or supports.

- **Sunlight:** Sugar Ann peas thrive in full sun, but they can tolerate partial shade.

- **Harvesting:** Harvest the pods when they are still flat and the peas inside are just beginning to swell. Pick them regularly to enjoy them at their sweetest.

**Health Benefits:**

Sugar Ann Pea Heirloom Seeds offer numerous health benefits:

1. **Nutrient-Rich:** They are a good source of vitamins, particularly vitamin C and vitamin K, and contain essential minerals such as iron and manganese.

2. **Fiber:** Sugar Ann peas are rich in dietary fiber, which aids in digestion and helps maintain a healthy digestive system.

3. **Antioxidants:** They contain antioxidants that help protect cells from damage and reduce inflammation.

    Great for micro green sprouts

When these are young shoots, they are very flavorful and great for salads. I've grown several trays and ordered more. Todd's has great prices on seeds.
