Product Description

English Daisy (Bellis Perennis) Single White Seeds grow into 6 inch tall plants which tend to thrive in the the coolers weather of Norhtern states. You can use the same techniques as growing pansies for the English Daisy. Press them into the soil and barely cover them. Scatter them at the top of the soil lightly. Ensure that they are light to aid with germination. They should be kept at 70 degrees Fahrenheit and it should take between 7-21 days to mature. After this time they should be planted into the garden and kept at least 6 inches apart.

They produce a huge quantity of large double flowers which grow to be about 2' in diameter from early spring to summer. Their colours vary from red, white, rose and even white with red tips. They are at times self-sows and are great in containers or planted with spring bulbs or at the front of the borders. They prefer being in the shade and grow well with continual moisture. In order to get optimal results when planting English Daisy Seeds it is best to sow them in cell packs or flats. The choice is up to the gardener, but either one should obtain optimal results.
